How quickly is my Prisoncall number activated?
Upon successful order of your Prisoncall plan, we will issue a Prisoncall number within 24 hours. Once you receive your Prisoncall number, the number is already registered with the local phone network (Telstra) and active. Give this number to your loved one, and they will get it registered with their prison phone system. This usually takes between 4 - 7 days for most prisons. Once registered, your loved one will be able to call the Prisoncall number and you will receive their call directly on your mobile.
Can I use the same Prisoncall number if the prisoner is transferred?
You can still use the same number if you wish, but to continue receiving the best savings, we would advise getting a new Prisoncall number.
Don't worry, we will do this for you free of charge, unlike other service providers. All you need to do is contact us online or send us an email to support@prisoncall.com.au and let us know which prison your loved one was transferred to.
